I believe that one of our duties as on this earth is to strive to maximize your opportunities and potential, in order to leave an impact and a legacy This used to mean work as hard as possible and progress as quickly as possible. Speed and busyness were status symbols. I burnt the candle at both ends and succeeded in progressing quickly. By the time I was 30 I held a director level position It was not always plain sailing though; I would put my physical and mental health secondary to the needs of work and others around me 5 years on, it hit me, I no longer knew what the best version of myself looked like. I was lost. I was tired and burnt out. I didn't know what I wanted anymore. I also knew that my future held a family, kids, something else in work that wasn't this Most importantly, I couldn’t see how that vision fit with how I was currently living Since then, I have had three major shifts in my life, which form the basis of the work I now do
