 I used to be where you are right now..

 

I believe that one of our duties as on this earth is to strive to maximize your opportunities and potential, in order to leave an impact and a legacy

This used to mean work as hard as possible and progress as quickly as possible. Speed and busyness were status symbols. I burnt the candle at both ends and succeeded in progressing quickly. By the time I was 30 I held a  director level position

It was not always plain sailing though; I would put my physical and mental health secondary to the needs of work and others around me

5 years on, it hit me, I no longer knew what the best version of myself looked like. I was lost. I was tired and burnt out. I didn't know what I wanted anymore. I also knew that my future held a family, kids, something else in work that wasn't this

Most importantly, I couldn’t see how that vision fit with how I was currently living

Since then, I have had three major shifts in my life, which form the basis of the work I now do

 

Level up to leadership: From first class doer to letting go and being a leader
Level up to motherhood: from new parent to a present working mum of two 
Level up to business owner: The shift from  coach to business owner

 

I now realized that it's not about being the best version of yourself. It's about embodying the truest you in your actions, interactions, failures and successes. Your authenticity is the magic you have to give this world

Since then, this is my focus, and it now gets to be the work I do share, coach and work with amazing people who are on their own journeys to do the same
